Bio

Václav is a designer, Creative Director and studio owner based in Prague. He has international experience from studying and working in the Czech Republic, the US, Denmark and London. He obtained his master’s in Product Design at the Royal College of Art in London and the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague. From 2011- 2020, Václav ran with Jakub Pollág, product design studio deFORM. In 2020, Václav focused on running his own product studio VM and his second spatial/interior architecture studio, MONUMENT Office. Since 2017, he has served as Creative Director for lighting brand and glass factory Bomma. From 2019 Václav teaches Product Design at NC State University in Prague.
