Petr Kabele

Bio

Petr Kabele received his Master’s and Doctoral degrees in Civil Engineering from the University of Tokyo, Japan. He is a full professor and deputy head at the Department of Mechanics, Faculty of Civil Engineering, Czech Technical University in Prague, where he teaches courses on structural and solid mechanics and numerical methods. His main research interests concentrate on mathematical and numerical modeling of materials, structures, phenomena, and processes, with applications, e.g., to developing cementitious composites, simulation of geological phenomena, or analysis of historic structures.
