Marie joined the NC State European Center in Prague in 2022. Before that, she worked as an International Student Advisor and Coordinator at Charles University in Prague. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in English and American Studies and a Master’s degree in Media and Communications Studies from Charles University. Marie spent part of her childhood in Finland and studied abroad for two semesters, one in Florida and one in Germany. She enjoys working in international and multicultural settings and supporting students. In her free time, Marie likes to travel, walk around Prague, discover hidden spots in the Czech Republic with friends, go to cultural events, and try out new recipes.

Marie recently returned to her role after parental leave and now works as the Internship Program Coordinator. Her experience and enthusiasm for helping students continue to benefit the NC State Prague team.
