Jakub Rákosník

Bio
Jakub Rákosník works as a vice dean for infrastructure development (Faculty of Arts – Charles University) and an associate professor at the Institute of the Economic and Social History (Faculty of Arts – Charles University). He is also a lecturer of social policy (Ambis – Prague). He received a Ph.D. in Economic and social history (2004) and then in Legal theory and history (2012). He is a specialist in modern social history. His research concentrates mainly on the development of welfare states, economic cycles, and the history of the working-class movement. Among his publications are five monographs and more than fifty scientific articles published in his country and abroad.
