In addition to our regular group program offerings, NC State Prague hosts faculty-led programs. Providing planning, logistical, and student support, NC State Prague works closely with the Study Abroad Office and faculty directors throughout the entire program– from the preliminary proposal process and pre-departure phase to on-site program execution and post-program administrative support. We welcome your ideas and look forward to exploring how we can make your potential program into an exciting reality!

Program Parameters

  • Program dates should fall within NC State’s Summer II Session, but beginning no earlier than July 1, with flexibility to extend possibly into August if desired.
  • Program length can vary but will typically be between 2-4 weeks.
  • NC State Prague is also available to host programs during the university’s Spring Break.

Proposal Process

  1. Submit program development interest form at least 15 months prior to the proposed start of the program.
  2. Staff from NC State Prague will follow up with you to schedule a Zoom call to discuss preliminary proposal and next steps.
  3. Afterwards we will open an official program proposal application for you, which you will then work on completing by the official submission deadline.
  4. NC State Prague staff will be in communication with you throughout the process and will meet with you as needed to consult, review, and finalize program details.
  5. Summer program proposals must be fully finalized, approved, and ready to receive student applications in time for the summer application opening on October 1.
