NC State European Center provides accommodation in Prague to all participating students.

About

NC State European Center in Prague provides accommodations for all students participating in a program. Fall and Spring program students stay in NC State Prague’s main accommodation, which is occupied entirely by NC State. In addition to NC State peers who live in the building, several Student Housing Assistants live in the same building and offer additional support and local connections.

Accepted students* can indicate preferences (roommates, single vs. double, location) after acceptance. A standard double room is included in the program cost. Students* have the option of requesting single rooms for an additional fee.

*does not apply to participants in the Connect program, as all will be in standard double rooms

Location

Housing is located in the Žižkov neighborhood in the Prague 3 district. It is a cosmopolitan area with a wide range of shops, cafes, restaurants, and cultural activities, all within walking distance.

Students commute to NC State Prague by walking (25-30 minutes) or taking the tram (15-20 minutes). A tram stop is conveniently located right next to the building. Travel passes are provided to each student for the entire program. Program staff meets students at their accommodations on the first morning of orientation to show them how to get to NC State Prague.
