Think and Do Abroad!
Throwback to an inspiring 3-day field trip to Olomouc in October with the Fall semester Sustainable Architecture and Urbanism class led by instructor Petra Kadlecová!
Students explored the beautiful city, then ventured to Horka nad Moravou to check out Slunakov, a low-energy center for schools and families. Afterward, they headed to Rožnov pod Radhoštěm to discover the Wallachian open-air museum with traditional wooden houses.
On the last day, students visited a scenic bike route featuring a stunning new bridge over the Bečva River and the Helfštýn Castle!
The trip let students immerse themselves in Moravian culture and experience the beauty of the Czech Republic beyond Prague. 🇨🇿

🤔 What if your summer could be the experience you’re still talking about years from now?
Spend six weeks living and learning in Prague, Czech Republic, while earning NC State credits, exploring Czech culture, and experiencing places far beyond the classroom.
Choose from 20+ NC State courses, take at least two, and join cultural events, activities, and an in-country excursion to Český Krumlov. The Summer Classic is open to students from all majors.

You could spend your summer looking for an internship. Or you could take your career to Prague.
Spend seven weeks gaining real-world experience in an individualized internship matched to your major, career goals, and interests, while earning 6 NC State credit hours.
Work 32–34 hours a week in a global setting, build practical skills, and experience Czech culture through excursions and local experiences.
