Hey y`all, we are Mollie and Channing and this summer we are interns in Prague!
Hello, I`m Mollie and I`m from Charlotte and I just finished up my freshman year at NCSU studying Political Science. I am interning at a non-profit named People in Need and my job is to create a theoretical framework explaining green criminology, state-corporate relations to underserved communities, and distributional asymmetry. I chose to intern in Prague because I knew it would bring me out of my comfort zone and gain real-world experience in a foreign country. Not only that, but I knew I wanted to study abroad and this program checked off studying abroad and securing an internship experience.
Hi, I`m Channing and I’m from Hillsborough NC and I am majoring in business at Poole😎 Here I am doing an HR internship with an online car company called Carvago (think Carvana)! At Carvago, I recruit new employees for the HR team as well as design their onboarding process. I chose to apply for this internship program because I wanted my Instagram to look cool and to eat new food. 🐷
Being here in Prague has broadened our view of the world as well as our food choices. We have learned a lot about work life and career and most importantly, ourselves. 10/10 recommend.
