NC State Prague hosts faculty-led programs, providing planning and logistical support. Faculty interested in proposing a new program are required to submit a proposal through the Study Abroad Office. NC State Prague will collaborate with the Study Abroad Office and faculty directors regarding the services and resources available onsite.

Program Parameters

  • Summer dates for faculty-led programs should fall within NC State’s Summer Session II academic calendar (beginning in late June or July) because capacity is full during Summer Session I dates with the NC State Prague Classic study abroad program.
  • NC State Prague is also available to host programs during the university’s Spring Break.
  • Due to visa and international taxation issues, faculty-led programs in Prague may not exceed three weeks in length.

Proposal Process

Submit program development interest form and meet with the Study Abroad Office at least 18 months prior to the start of the program.
